Terms & Conditions

INTRODUCTION

​

All the membership rules equally apply to members and guests.

​

 

All members are bound, as a condition of membership, to comply with the rules and guidelines set out below and any additional terms and conditions that may be applied from time to time. This is to ensure that the facilities are properly and safely used and that all members can take full advantage of their membership without interfering with the enjoyment of others.

​

 

We would like to politely remind you that we are a membership-based club, which is means that the use of our facilities is restricted to members (and paying guests).

If one member of the family has a membership but his/her sibling/parent does not, the sibling/parent is not allowed to use the facilities without a membership or without paying a guest fee.

​

 

As always, we want our club to be a friendly and welcoming place, but we also take measruses to reinforce the benefits of our members.

​

  • A $100 fee may be imposed on members who repeatedly violate the Club's policies and regulations.

  • Membership termination may also be enforced if the aforementioned issues persist.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

​

1) Court Booking and No Show

​​

All members must reserve a court in advance. Each member is allowed to book one court for 45min per day. Members should not use a court other than the one booked. Please check your booking to ensure you will be using the correct court.

 

A $20 no show fee will apply for booking that are not honored (when the player in the booking does not show up to use the court)

A $20 fee will also appply cancellations/changes done within less than 2 hours of the start of the court booking

2) Guests

​​

All guests must pay a $20 fee and can only access the club when accompaiged by a member or to attend a lesson or clinic with a coach.

 

All guest charges and fees will be charged to the host member's account.

Members must insert the guest in their court booking or notify the club via email prior to their visit.

 

3) Use of Facilities

​

NJ Squash Club is a members only club, therefore the use of the facilities are exclusive to members or paying guests. This includes courts and all fitness equipment inside the club.

 

Anyone that does not comply with this rule will receive a warning from the club management. If the situation persists, the club reserves the rigth to take furthe enforcement action.

 

It is strictly forbidden to bring outside coaches to the club. Coaching is only to be done by NJ Squash team. Non compliance with this regulation will lead to immediate membership termination.

4) Fees

​

It is the members responsability to pay the fees for the use of club's services (lessons, clinics, etc), which are informed on the members account or via email. Fees may be changed from time to time, unless specified as conditions of a subscription type.

 

All the prices can be found by contacting the club directly. It is the responsability of the member to ask for the prices before attending a lesson or group session.

5) Lessons Cancellations

​

All cancellations must be done with a 24hrs notice to the coach directly or to the club email.

 

  • More than 24 hours - cancellations requested 24+ hours before the lesson date and time = No Charge

  • Less than 24 hours - cancellations requested with less than 24 hours of the lesson date and time = 100% of lesson fee is charged to the member's account​

 

Group/clinics cancellation policy will be sent out separately.

6) Memberships

​

All monthly memberships are calendar month based and non-refundable. Memberships starting after the month started are due to pay the full month fee.

​​

Members who have limited memberships are entitled to book courts for free during off-peak hours.

Peak hours are from Monday to Friday from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and on Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM.

Any bookings/play during peak hours will incur a charge of $20, which will be directly applied to the member's account.

Family Membership: Suitable for players of the same household and that are direct relatives (parents and kids or couples, other family members are not eligilbe).

Allowed 2 court bookings per day, host member of court booking must be the one using the court.

​

7) Membership termination

​

Monthly: Cancellation or no renewal must be notified with 20 days of notice.

There is no hold or pause for monthly memberships. Members may cancel and return at anypoint but they would need to pay the full month fee upon return.​

 

Members on an annual membership may freeze their membership for 1 month. Exceptions can be applied for medical conditions.

Annual memberships must be paid in full in advance, are not refundable or changeable.

8) Use of image​

​

New Jersey Squash Club staff may take photos or videos for training feedback or marketing purposes. Those photos or videos may be shared across our online platforms.

f you would not like you or your child photographed, please kindly let a member of staff know.

9) Payments

​

Before using any of the clubs facilities, everyone must have an online account set up with all payment details (credit card) in the system.

​​

All paymenets are done directly from our system and are taken from the payment details that are in the account. This applies to membership payments, clinics, lessons, guest fee, purchases, etc.

​​

All members must keep payment details up to date. If payment details are incorrect or not updated, the membership will be put on hold until details are updated and balance is settled.

​​

All credit/debit card details and personally identifiable information will never be sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties

​

10) Protective Eyewear

​

All players aged under 19 must wear protective eyewear while on court.

This includes solo, lessons and match play.

 

The club reserves the rigth to ask the player to leave the court if this rule is not followed.

​

11) Liability

​

All active members must sign the liability waiver form that can be found on the members profile.

 

If the liability form is not signed, you membership may be paused.

​

11) Appropriate Shoe and Grip

​

All members and guests are required to wear non-marking or light soled shoes while using the courts.

​

Old and crumbling grips are strictly forbidden.
